Mission Statement
The mission of digital dentistry forum is to be the # 1 source of training and education in digital dentistry. The scope of subjects will include, CBCT imaging, Intra-Oral imaging for restorations, CAD software, CAM hardware, 3D printing and Lasers. Information will not be restricted to a single manufacturer or product and provide a broad and unbiased perspective on various topics. Currently available resources are restricted in their scope and this fails to provide a true understanding or global benefits. Digital technology in specific fields has dramatically improved the quality of care provided to patients. Integrating the different technologies has allowed for evolution of new workflows and increased our ability to treat complex cases with ease and predictability.
The highest levels of dental care are achieved by collaboration. This site aims to bring together individuals and organizations that are committed to excellence in the field of digital technology and are open to collaborative efforts to further advance our profession. A panel of leaders in the field will continually add training and educational material and we will seek to collaborate with other exceptional organizations that offer high quality content. Multi-disciplinary training and education teams will be created and course offerings will be available throughout the US at partner facilities, dental offices and dental laboratories.
Membership will be offered in three categories: Member, Contributor, and Sponsor. Members are encouraged to share their clinical experience in the forum, highlighting unique perspectives through case reports or short videos that explain various techniques.

Faculty
For individuals at the forefront of digital dentistry, it is common to feel the need to share ones knowledge and expertise with others. Some individuals focus on mastery at a specific step in the digital dentistry arena while others provide insight into the bigger picture.
Creation of training and educational facilities as well as producing online content are other components of organic growth. Individuals or small groups are continually following this path. If everyone that has the same passion can come together, share their knowledge and collaborate, even greater things can be achieved.
Kunal Lal, DDS, MS
President, CEO
Dr. Lal is a Board Certified Prosthodontist practicing in New York City. He graduated from dental school in 1996 from Manipal, India, followed by his masters degree in Prosthodontics from Columbia University in 2002. After graduation, he continued to teach at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and was appointed the Program Director for Post Graduate Prosthodontics.
Dr. Lal is President and CEO of Digital Dentistry Forum, a company that is committed to become the #1 source for training and education in digital dentistry.
He has authored multiple articles in the top peer-reviewed journals on prosthodontics and implant dentistry including the use of computer generated surgical templates for prosthodontic and surgical implant planning and placement. He has extensive experience in the treatment of partially and completely edentulous patients using dental implants.
He lectures Nationally on implant, esthetic and reconstructive dentistry with a primary focus on digital dentistry and its clinical applications.
